I BELIEVE IN LOVE, I BELIEVE IN YOU, so goes the lyrics of this outstanding song. Although listed as country, this is a pop selection. The verse and chorus melodies are great, with good note range, which is ideal for this outstanding singer, with a nice set of pipes. The sound of Jamie's voice must be heard to be Believed: very pretty and unique. I seldom hear a great male singer, but Jamie Clark is one of them! Jamie, write some more songs like this! Guys, play this song for your girlfriend, and you will get LUCKY TONIGHT!! The sound is excellent, and the production is good. I played this masterpiece about 100 times for far!!!
Long Haired Woman - GREAT COUNTRY SONG! Jamie has no trouble outdoing the songs on the country outlets. This is well produced, and the singing is relaxed. The melody is excellent. While most country tunes have hokey lyrics, this selection is an exception. The guy in the song meets this girl for the second time, and now the timing is right. So--the blonde haired girl becomes a LONG HAIRED WOMAN.
A Heart Has To Rest - OUTSTANDING A HEART HAS TO REST, BEFORE IT LETS LOVE WALK IN---BABY, THAT'S WHY I'M HERE, AND I'M YOUR FRIEND: Jamie sings the lyrics with great feeling, like Kenny Rogers used to do. This is a demo, but it sounds soooo good! It's slow and very melodic, like a great country song should be. There is a very nice guitar solo that plays this outstanding melody. Jamie's voice is held in check, after all, this is a country song where FEELING is what matters. Still, his voice is beautiful, as usual. I hope, when he goes to Nashville, he makes this song his top priority. It can't miss as a top hit. This tune may need a few plays before it SINKS IN. Then you will play it over and over, as I do. Remember Me - GREAT SONG CATCHY MELODY! At first, I only gave this song a four star rating. But---this song really grows on you after each play. IT HAS STAYING POWER! It has an unusual melody that takes some time to get used to. This song is limited in vocal range, but Jamie still hits some nice sounding notes: It is such a pleasure hearing his voice, especially at one part of the tune where he hits some of the higher notes. This is an up tempo song, and one of the nice things is that catchy guitar fill on the left channel. I like the nice sounding bass track. In fact, this recording sounds great, although it is somewhat simple. Another nice one from Jamie Clark!
